About The Owners of Wagner’s Auto Service

Mr. Mark Wagner
Mark has always had a driving motivation to understand how machines work and how to fix them when they are broken. When Mark was about seven he began fixing the neighborhood kid’s bikes. As he became more confident in his skills he moved on to fixing neighbor’s lawnmowers. Then, as Mark moved into his teens began helping his father fix cars in their garage is some of his earliest memories.

When Mark was 18 years old he started his apprenticeship at a local gas station and became ASE Certified by age 20. After working for a couple of different shops, Mark realized he wanted to open his own shop where he could provide the honest and quality services he felt his customers deserved.

Mark opened Wagner’s Auto Service, Inc. in 1991 in West Chicago and has made many friends along the way. In January of 2007 he moved Wagner’s Auto Service, Inc. to Batavia. Mark remains dedicated to providing the best service he can at a reasonable price.

Mrs. Teresa Wagner
Teresa joined Mark in 2007 after being a stay-at-home mom for their 4 daughters. She does the bookkeeping, advertising and marketing.

Teresa is often the first voice you hear on the phone and the first face you see to welcome you to Wagner’s Auto Service, Inc. She works hard to make your auto repairs as convenient as possible by picking up and dropping off your vehicle or dropping off the courtesy car for your use while your vehicle is in for repairs.
